Products I'm Dying To Try: New L'oreal Miss Candy Collection

I spotted these goodies at Walgreens last week and should have bought the whole lot of them.  After looking at the pictures, I've just got to have the jelly polishes and the lip glosses.  

As soon as I'm able to get my hands on these goodies again, I will post swatches.  I can't believe I passed them over the first time I saw them.  Big mistake!

L'OREAL Infallible Eye Shadow in Golden Emerald

How have I not owned one of these L'OREAL Infallible eye shadows before now.  It is so creamy and buttery, while having amazing color pay off.  I am loving this color for fall.  The vibrant emerald color with the golden shimmer is just gorgeous.  

I am loving these L'OREAL eye shadows and can not wait to add more to my collection.  What shades do you have? Any recommendations?

L'oreal Youth Code Day/Night Lotion Review

 

I think this is a pretty good product.  The consistency is very nice, it has a light but pleasant smell, and absorbs into the skin beautifully.  The one down side to it being both a day and a night cream is that there is no spf in it. You would have to wear an additional sunscreen during the day if you wanted sun protection.  On the other hand, if you have an irritation to some sunscreens or need a moisturizer with out any due to photographs then this is great!

I like that you can use it for day or night.  It makes it more affordable that way.  This actually came attached to a face wash in a set I found at Target.  When I purchased it , the set was clearanced for only $10! I believe the lotion itself  normally retails for $20 at Walmart or Target and is probably a few dollars more at your local drug store. 

Overall, I think it's a  great product with only one downfall.

This is just my opinion.  I would love to know if you've used this product and what you thought of it.

L'OREAL Power Volume Collagen Mascara

I purchased the waterproof version of this new L'oreal mascara.  I am pretty funny about mascara and usually tend to stick with one when I find one I really like.  I actually sniff the mascara and can usually tell whether or not I'm going to like it just by the smell.  Weird, I know! =)

This mascara did leave my lashes looking fuller and didn't leave them completely stiff.  After 9 hours of wear, I had no flaking.  I was able to build my lashes up without having to redip the wand, so I was using less product than usual.  

If you like very defined lashes, then this probably won't be your favorite mascara but if you like full BIG lashes give this one a try.

L'OREAL HIP Studio Secrets Professional Crystal Shadow Duo in Mystical

Today's post is on this very pretty eye shadow duo.  Teal eye shadow seems to be popping up every where this summer.  I talked about this in a previous post about recent Target clearance finds, but I saw it within the last few days at Rite-Aid and Walmart.  

I waited to buy the Too Faced Summer Royalty Palette because I wasn't sure they colors would really work for me and by the time I saw it in the store it was sold out everywhere.  So when I came across this duo on clearance at Target, it was a no brainier.  I had to buy it!

The gold is a little powdery and there is some fall out, but it does smooth out when blended.  The teal color is gorgeous and is not chalky or powdery.  Just for the teal color, this purchase was well worth it.  

The colors are great for summer and look great with a tan.  

If you are looking for a teal eye shadow that won't break the bank check your local Target for this on clearance.  If not, I saw it at Walmart for around $6.
