Jouer Cream Highlighters: Swatches and Review

The texture of these cream highlighters  is quite slick and almost wet once you get your finger worked into the pan.  I found that this made the product much easier to blend out and work into the skin.  Some cream products are very stiff, which can make them patching when blending and just hard to work with in general.  

The Jouer highlighters are perfect.  If you are someone who does not gravitate towards cream products, these highlighters are sure to change that.  They look beautiful on there own or under a powder highlighting product.  They provide the most luminous glow to the skin.  These are sure to be a favorite in my summer makeup routine.  

I adore how the sleek packaging slides to together.  This makes storage a dream and helps me stay organized. 

Tiare, Champagne, Camellia (concentrated swatches)

Tiare is described as a shimmering gold.  This even works as a great lid color for that sheer was of color for the perfect glowy makeup. 

Champagne is described as a shimmering pink.  This is such a perfect rose gold color.  This is gorgeous on it's own but I love to pair it with my MAC LE Mineralize Skin Finish in Superb.

Camellia is shimmering pearl white.  When this shade is blended out it gives the most beautiful angelic glow to your skin.

So I suppose the question is, if I ever use up all of these would I repurchase? The answer is YES.  Jouer has quickly become one of my favorite makeup brands and I have yet to try something from Jouer that I didn't like.  I 100% recommend these and I WILL repurchase when they are gone.

Jouer Powder Blush in Rose and Bloom

These have been two of my favorite blushes for the last few months and I wanted to share them with you.  I have grabbed for Bloom more than any other blush recently because it just brings life to my face.  I grab for Rose almost as often when I'm going for soft cheeks.  Rose is perfect as we are going into fall and looking for a softer cheek color to pair with our bold eyes or lips.

Rose is a beautiful natural pink that gives your cheeks the perfect flush.  Bloom is a soft peach, one of my favorite blushes ever, that just wakes up your face.  I think both of these blushes would look great on a variety of skin tones.  They both have a matte finish so these are also great for those of us with skin imperfections.  

The entire Jouer line consists of extremely high quality products and these blushes are no exception.  They blend out like a dream and the finish is beautiful.  They also layer nicely with a highlight. The wear time is average for a regular powder blush, equal to a MAC blush.    

Overall, I love these blushes.  I can not wait to pick up more colors.  I have always been more of a lip product junkie, but these two little gems have ignited a bit of a blush obsession in me.

My favorite pairing is Bloom Blush with Jouer's Sun Tan Bronzer.

Jouer Neutral Powder Eyeshadow Swatches and Review

If you love to wear neutral tones, you will go crazy over these Jouer eyeshadows!

My Thoughts:

I fell in love with Jouer from the first product I ever used from them.  The quality is amazing through and through and there hasn't been a product that has let me down yet.  These eyeshadows are silky smooth and have great pigmentation.  They lasted on my primed lid for 10+ hours without a setting spray.  They blend out perfectly to create an effortless neutral eye.  

The Jouer eyeshadows are amazing quality and totally worth checking out! In my opinion, they are a MUST TRY MUST HAVE!

These retail for $20 and can be purchased at Jouer or Nordstrom.  If you are curious about a shade, the Jouer website has an awesome tool that allows you to click on a shade and it shows it to you on four different skin tones.  The site also gives you suggestions on other products to pair items with.   This makes shopping online much easier and much more fun.

Jouer Creme Eyeshadow in Cashmere

A Smooth and Creamy Dream!

Jouer Creme Eyeshadow in Cashmere - Shimmering Golden Taupe

Who doesn't love a good taupe creme eyeshadow?  Jouer hit the ball out of the park with this one! The formula is slightly wet, ultra creamy, and easily blendable.  I have never encountered such a wonderful creme shadow.  Wearing this on its own gives a natural defining look to your eye.  If you choose to pair it with your favorite shadows, you'll have an amazing base that makes your other eyeshadows POP!

Due to the super creamy formula, they are very easy to blend out with your finger so no special brush is required.  This is a great product for all of use to have days when we have only 5 minutes to do our makeup.  I experienced no creasing! This is by far the BEST creme eyeshadow I have ever tried.  I highly recommend them and I look forward to trying more colors myself.

Jouer Matte Moisture Tint Review

Mattifying Tint Moisture

This light weight moisturizing tint has a matte finish and amazing coverage.  The coverage is buildable if you need more but it's so light weight you can not tell you've layered the product.

After covering up your skins imperfections, the Jouer Matte Moisture Tint leaves your skin leaving velvety smooth.  It contains SPF 15 that will protect your skin from UVA and UVB rays and it's loaded with rich antioxidants like Vitamin A, C, and E.  This oil free, hypoallergenic, and fragrance free formula is perfect for all skin types.  

My Thoughts:

I am in love with Jouer as a whole! There has yet to be a product I've tried that I didn't fall in love with and I wouldn't waste my time recommending it to you if it wasn't 100% worth it! 

The coverage is light to medium but it's definitely buildable.  It's extremely light weight and super comfortable to wear.  This is perfect for anyone who wants light to medium coverage but HATES the feeling of foundation on their skin.  I have switched out my regular foundation for the Jouer Matt Moisture Tint.  I think this is a dream come true for all of us "Natural Makeup" girls.  Despite loving makeup, I don't want to look "Made Up" every day.  This is the perfect product to help me achieve all day medium coverage while still looking natural.  You can not even tell you have it on your skin.  AMAZING!

It has a whipped mouse like consistency, which is similar to the Tarte Amazonian Clay or Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation texture.  It wore extremely well on my skin for 8 plus hours.  At the 8 hour mark, I still had not noticed that it shifted, became patchy, or oxidized.  

The Verdict:

100% worth it! 

You can purchase the Jouer Matte Moisture Tint at Jouer Cosmetics or at Nordstrom for $38.00 for 1.7oz.  That's more product for your money than other light to medium coverage higher end products.

It should come as no surprise that I love the neutral colors of these glosses.  Being a neutral girl, who is all about natural makeup, these are right up my alley.  But the formulation and the sheer pigmentation make them a dream for everyone.  

These glosses are extremely moisturizing and leave your lips feeling incredibly hydrated.  They are the perfect gloss to pair with your favorite lipstick (check out some of my favorite Jouer lipsticks here) or to  simply wear alone for a beautiful sheer color.  With ingredients like Vitamin E, Shea Butter, and Jojoba Seed Oil you can't go wrong.  Every time you apply one of these gems you know you are improving the condition and appearance of your lips.

Jouer Hydrating Lipsticks in Meredith, Lola, and Oliva: Swatches and Review

I am absolutely in love with these smooth, creamy, and ultra hydrating lipsticks from Jouer Cosmetics. They apply so evenly and with ease.  There is no tugging involved to get this formula on.  Jouer has become a fast favorite of mine.  I am all about natural beauty and these three shades are the perfect options to accentuate your own natural beauty.  I love the my lips but better colors and I have found three new favorites.    

I have gotten an average wear time of about 3 hours, which is normal for me with lipstick.  The formula is so creamy that I enjoy reapplying.  I feel like I'm doing something extra good for my lips every time I do.  Even after the color has worn off, my lips are left feeling conditioned and hydrated.  Who could ask for more from a lipstick?

Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Sorbet

Jouer lip glosses are some of my favorite! It all started with a sample of the color nude that I received in a Nordstrom's gift with purchase.  That tiny little vile was enough to spark an obsession.  

Sorbet is a gorgeous light peachy pink that is perfect for this time of the year.  It can be worn alone or layered over your favorite lipstick.  The formula  is amazing creamy, not at all sticky, and packed Vitamin E, Shea Butter, and Jojoba Seed Oil to be ultra moisturizing.  It wears for about 2-3 hours on me, which is a typical wear time for me and lip glosses.  

If I was only allowed to purchase one lip gloss formula for the rest of my life this would definitely be it.    This is a choice if you are looking to get started with Jouer but don't know where to start.
